Santa Rosa home-invasion suspect died of multiple gunshots

An autopsy confirmed Wednesday that a Santa Rosa man suspected of attempting a home-invasion robbery died of gunshot wounds after police said he and another man were fired on by the occupant.

Pablo Reyes-Martinez, 22, was killed Monday in the shootout on Acacia Lane that left an alleged accomplice, Fidencio Reyes Bocanegra, 24, with life-threatening injuries.

A third man suspected of being the driver, Miguel Junior Flores, 36, of Cloverdale was arraigned on suspicion of murder under a theory that his actions led to the death of a co-conspirator. He pleaded not guilty to the allegation as well as charges of attempted robbery, shooting at an occupied house and conspiracy. He remains in custody on $1 million bail.

Also in court was resident Manual Garcia, 25, the man police believe shot the suspected robbers. He was charged with two counts of child endangerment and drug charges. A neighbor suspected of being Garcia’s partner in a drug operation, Rolando Ramirez-Ruiz, 23, was arraigned on drug and firearms charges.
