Petaluma police released surveillance images of three women they suspect took purses and wallets worth about $6,000 from the Petaluma Village Premium Outlets mall.

The theft occurred about 5 p.m. Tuesday at the Coach outlet store at the Petaluma Boulevard North complex, Sgt. Rick Cox said.

The women fled the store with the merchandise before security or police could arrive, Cox said.

They were seen leaving in a silver Hyundai Sonata with a California license plate that included “7E7.”

On Friday, police released photographs of three women taken at the store. The appeared to be in their 20s or 30s.
