A west Santa Rosa DUI checkpoint this weekend resulted in the arrest of one teen and five adults suspected of drunken driving, according to police.

Officers also cited 32 drivers for being behind the wheel despite not having a license or having a suspended license.

Officers set up the checkpoint on Stony Point Road at Stony Point Circle. Between 8 p.m. Saturday and 3 a.m. Sunday they stopped 509 drivers, traffic Sgt. Ryan Corcoran said in a news release.

As well as the 17-year-old driver, officers arrested three Santa Rosa and two Rohnert Park drivers, ages 25- to 54 years, on suspicion of driving drunk.

The checkpoint also led to the arrest of two people who were wanted on warrants. Three drivers were given citations for problems with their vehicles.
