Petaluma police seek suspected shoplifter

Police say the man entered the Kohl's store on Friday and left without paying for items including speakers and jewelry.|

Petaluma police are seeking help in tracking down a suspected shoplifter.

Police said the man entered Kohl’s Department Store on North McDowell Boulevard at about 10 p.m. Friday and left without paying for several items.

The items, which included two Bluetooth speaker systems and miscellaneous jewelry, are valued at about $450. The man left the area on a green bicycle.

Police released a photograph of the suspect. The man was described as white, approximately 30 to 40 years old and 6-feet tall. He wore a red baseball hat, glasses, red-collared shirt and blue jeans.
