Three arrested on first day of BottleRock

Napa police reported little commotion during Friday's Day 1 of the three-day festival.|

The first day of Napa’s BottleRock music festival - which drew an estimated 30,000 people - saw little commotion and no major incidents were reported, said Napa Police Capt. Jeff Troendly.

Troendly said in total, three people were arrested for public drunkenness Friday - two inside the festival and one outside.

“It was pretty uneventful,” Troendly said. “This has always been a good event for us; people behave pretty well and we rarely have any arrests.”

The three-day festival, featuring headliners such as Robert Plant, No Doubt and Snoop Dogg, is expected to draw upwards of 100,000 people.
