Three adults were taken to the hospital on a rainy Wednesday morning after a two-vehicle crash on Redwood Way and North McDowell Boulevard.

Around 11:05 a.m., a white van was headed northbound on North McDowell Boulevard. According to a witness at the scene, the driver of the van ran a red light at the intersection of Redwood Way and McDowell and slammed into a black pickup truck turning left onto McDowell from Redwood Way. The impact caused the truck to flip on its roof.

Two people in the van and one person in the truck were transported to area hospitals for examination, said Petaluma Fire Department Captain Kevin Weaver.
