Highway 1 work near Fort Ross to cause delays for motorists

Starting Monday, one-way traffic control will be in effect for approximately three months as culvert work takes place near Fort Ross.|

Motorists headed up and down Highway 1 on the north Sonoma Coast should expect delays in the coming months, as Caltrans crews replace a culvert, the agency said.

One-way traffic control will be in effect for approximately three months as the work continues about two miles south of Fort Ross, north of Jenner, Caltrans said.

Construction starts Monday.

Those traveling through the area should leave extra time to reach their destinations, and remember to slow down and use caution as they drive through the construction zone, Caltrans said.
