Fatal crash on Bennett Valley Road

The CHP was investigating what appeared to be a fatal crash at Bennett Valley and Enterprise roads east of Santa Rosa on Saturday night.

Around 7:30 p.m., a solo crash involving a Mazda Miata was reported, according to the CHP’s incident log website. The eastbound lane of Bennett Valley Road was closed shortly after 8 p.m. and the Coroner’s Office was called to the scene, according to initial reports.

No additional information was available.
