Family searches for missing Northern California baby

REDDING — Relatives of a 6-month-old girl who vanished from her crib are searching throughout Shasta County looking for leads that may help in locating her.

The Record Searchlight reports Sunday (http://bit.ly/1HFG0cP) that about a dozen relatives of Ember Graham fanned out across Shasta County on Saturday.

The baby's father, Matthew Graham, reported her missing Thursday morning. He told police he had last seen the baby in her crib Wednesday night.

Graham became a person of interest in the disappearance of his daughter after giving inconsistent statements to Shasta County Sheriff's investigators.

He remained in Shasta County Jail on Sunday on a probation violation.

Officials couldn't be reached to comment on the case.
