Sonoma County Sheriff’s deputies respond to reported shooting in Forestville

Sonoma County Sheriff’s deputies were responding to a reported shooting Wednesday evening in Forestville.

The shooting was first reported shortly before 10 p.m. at a home in the 9100 block of Rio Dell Court.

Police scanner traffic indicated six shots had been fired and that someone was injured in the shooting. Medical treatment was being provided.

Shortly after sheriff’s deputies arrived on the scene, suspects were taken into custody, according to emergency dispatchers.

Sheriff’s officials could not be reached late Wednesday evening to confirm details.
