Authorities seek help finding man missing in Yosemite

YOSEMITE NATIONAL PARK, Calif. (AP) — Yosemite National Park officials are asking for the public's help in locating a missing man.

KFSN-TV in Fresno reports (http://abc30.tv/1JJopSd ) Tuesday that 39-year-old James Michael Millet Jr. planned a day hike to Upper Yosemite Fall on Aug. 11, and has not returned to his vehicle.

He is described as white, 5 feet 9 inches tall and 170 pounds. He has brown hair and brown eyes.

Authorities did not say if he was hiking alone when he went missing.

Anyone who was in the area of North Dome or Upper Yosemite Fall between Aug. 11 and Aug. 15, or who has information on Millet's whereabouts is asked to contact the Yosemite National Park Emergency Communications Center.
