The Golden State Warriors may have come out of their Game 1 NBA Finals win over the Cleveland Cavaliers relatively unscathed on Thursday night but the same can't be said for coach Steve Kerr's clipboard - apparently his third of the season.

After a 7-0 Cavs run early in the third quarter, he smashed his fist through the board, sending pieces flying.

In an interview after the game, Kerr said of his battered clipboard "Destruction tends to ease some of the anger, so I try to take it out on a clipboard instead of a player. It's better that way."

Turns out, he was worrying for nothing, Golden State won the game 104-89. The two teams play again Sunday.
