Police estimated his blood alcohol level was twice the legal limit when he was arrested.|

A Santa Rosa man was jailed after he drunkenly drove through a fence and crashed into a Rincon Valley yard, police said.

Chase London, 29, was driving on Speers Road near Middle Rincon Road on Friday morning about 5:30 a.m. when he failed to make a right turn, a news release from the CHP said.

London’s truck struck a road sign, then utility pole support wires, and finally crashed through the 6-foot fence before coming to a stop.

After his arrest, it was determined London has a prior DUI conviction. Officers estimated his blood alcohol level Friday morning was twice the legal limit.
