Sonoma County judge replaces courtroom orange with US Constitution

Judge Elliot Daum caused quite a stir when he put an orange in the space reserved for a portrait of the president.|

The disputed orange is gone from the Santa Rosa courtroom of Judge Elliot Daum.

In its place, in the space once reserved for a portrait of the sitting U.S. president, is a tiny glass bottle. Inside it, a miniature scroll labeled “U.S. Constitution.”

Word is that if Daum is asked what's in the bottle he answers that it's the Constitution, then adds, “Are you for it?”
