A casting call seeking extras for an HBO production starring Amy Adams will take place from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Saturday at the conference center on south School Street in downtown Ukiah.

Filming is scheduled for May in Redwood Valley, according to Rich King of Rich King Productions.

An estimated 500 to 1,000 extras, including men, women and children, will be needed during the filming, which is expected to last about a week, King said.

Prospective extras should bring with them to the Ukiah Valley Conference Center a current 3-by-5-inch photograph and a pen. The pay rate is $84 for eight hours, with overtime beginning after eight hours, he said. Anyone hired should be prepared to work for the entire day or night, King said. Meals are provided while working.
