Fire officials seeking cause of Santa Rosa mobile home blaze

Fire investigators Wednesday morning were looking for the cause of Tuesday evening’s fire that gutted an empty mobile home in southeast Santa Rosa.

The unoccupied double-wide home was in the process of being dismantled and had no residents, said Matt Gustafson, Windsor fire battalion chief.

At least six fire agencies responded because the Magnolia Avenue mobile home park, east of Santa Rosa Avenue in the Bellevue area, has no water hydrants.

The 900-square-foot home was engulfed in flames when Rincon Valley firefighters arrived. The fire did not spread.
