Santa Rosa's revamped bus routes went into effect this week. The new routes, in the works for more than two years, increase the frequency of service on the busiest bus lines in an attempt to make service faster and more convenient. But that's at a cost of the city trimming or consolidating a number of lesser used or one-way routes.
