Three people were injured, one seriously, when the pickup truck they were in rolled down an embankment north of Upper Lake early Sunday, the CHP reported.

The driver of the Ford F-350, Dalleen Luevano, 23, of Middletown, suffered major injuries and was airlifted to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital for treatment. She also was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence of alcohol, the CHP said.

Passenger Jeffrey Lovrin, 26, suffered moderate injuries and a rear seat passenger, Nehemiah White, 31, suffered a laceration to his hand, according to the CHP report.

The crash occurred about 3:25 a.m. Sunday on Pitney Ridge Road. Luevano reportedly lost control of the truck, which then went down a dirt embankment, rolled and struck a tree, according to the CHP.
