Most tolls on the iconic span will go up by 25 cents. Fares for Golden Gate Transit buses and Golden Gate Ferry service will go up 4 percent.

The FastTrak toll on the bridge will increase to $6.50 for two-axle vehicles, $7.50 for Pay-by-Plate and $4.50 for carpool vehicles.

The one-way adult fare for the Larkspur Ferry will go up 50 cents to $11 and to $11.75 for the Sausalito Ferry.

According to the Golden Gate Bridge Highway and Transportation District, the hikes are part of a multi-year toll increase program approved by the Board of Directors in 2014 and will help in reducing a five-year budget shortfall.
