The autopsy for a Boyes Hot Springs woman found dead in her home Saturday morning has been set for Tuesday.

Juanita Rothschild, 67, “appeared to be seriously beaten,” according to a Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office press release, and her husband, Steven Rothschild, 72, was arrested Saturday on suspicion of killing her.

According to Sgt. Spencer Crum, deputies found Juanita Rothschild unresponsive Saturday morning on the living room couch at the home in the 700 block of Amherst Circle. Her husband had called 911 and said he and his wife had been in a fight.

No one else was home at the time, Crum said, and no obvious weapons were found. Paramedics pronounced her dead at the scene.

Steven Rothschild was booked into the Sonoma County Jail, and is being held without bail. He is scheduled to appear in court at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday, according to jail records.
