A Santa Rosa man was arraigned Thursday on felony assault charges after an alleged drug-fueled rampage in which police said he attacked five people in a medical office building before fleeing naked down a busy street.

Joshua Fajardo, 21, was being held on $250,000 bail after his arrest in the Tuesday morning incident at St. Joseph Health’s pulmonary offices on West College Avenue.

Fajardo is accused of crashing his car on nearby Tesconi Court and walking into the building where he punched patients and medical staff. He stripped off his clothes and ran, but was subdued by an officer wielding a Taser stun gun.

He had been a suspect in an earlier incident in which police said he assaulted his housemate while under the influence of multiple drugs, including methamphetamine and LSD.

Fajardo made his first court appearance Thursday clad in a blue jail uniform. He said only “yes sir” when told to return Tuesday to enter a plea before Judge Jamie Thistlethwaite.
