A driver was injured in a three-vehicle crash this morning on Bodega Highway just west of Sebastopol, a fire official said.

The woman was pinned in her car after it struck a power pole on the highway near Grandview Road around 8 a.m., Gold Ridge Fire Battalion Chief Darrin DeCarli said. Firefighters cut the roof off her car to free the driver, who then was taken to Santa Rosa Memorial Hospital with moderate injuries, he said.

A second car suffered major front damage in the crash but the driver wasn’t injured, DeCarli said. He said the driver in the third vehicle, an SUV, also escaped injuries.

CHP also responded to the accident, which briefly shut down a section of the highway. The crash remains under investigation.
