Armed robber hits Santa Rosa cellphone store

The male suspect made off with an undisclosed amount of cash after robbing Boost Mobile at gunpoint, police said.|

A man with a gun robbed a Santa Rosa cellphone store Tuesday night, making off with an undisclosed amount cash, police said.

The robbery happened about 5:45 p.m. at Boost Mobile in the 700 block of Stony Point Road, Sgt. Dan Marincik said.

A man entered the store, brandished a gun and demanded money. He fled in an unknown direction.

Police described the suspect as black, in his 30s and with a medium build. He was wearing a beanie cap with ear flaps, glasses, a green or gray sweater and jeans.
