What’s closed on MLK Day

The federal holiday means schools, government offices and institutions are closed.|

Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day, a federal holiday marking the birthday of the celebrated civil rights leader, and celebrated on the third Monday of January. Here is a list of closures:

All federal and state courts and offices

Santa Rosa and Sonoma County offices and libraries

Banks and savings institutions

U.S. Post Office; no delivery

Sonoma County Library locations

All public schools

Sonoma Transit will operate on a Saturday schedule

Recology recycling and trash pickup normal service
