HBO holds casting call for 'Big Little Lies' in Monterey

If you dream of a moment on screen behind Reese Witherspoon or Nicole Kidman, HBO's casting call for extras could be your big break.|

"Big Little Lies" made a huge splash in its first season on HBO, raking in eight Emmys and a loyal legion of fans. Now filming season two, HBO is holding an open casting call for extras in Monterey.

For fans who dream of being on the show, perhaps as Reese Witherspoon's Madeline unleashes another biting one-liner, this casting call could be your opportunity.

The casting is set for March 17, at the Embassy Suites in Seaside. That's roughly a three-hour drive from Santa Rosa.

Producers say they're looking for men and women of all shapes, sizes and ethnicities over the age of 4. Hired extras will earn $96 for an eight-hour shift with meals provided, according to the release.
