Grapevine Trading Company Opens Its Warehouse: For several years, Grapevine Trading Company has hosted a special holiday warehouse sale, with a huge array of foods, tools, office supplies, and more offered at well below wholesale prices.

The company sells a line of specialty foods under the name “California Harvest” and these foods, from olives and sun-dried tomatoes to tapenades, dried fruit mustards, honey, wild mushrooms and more are among the items offered.

There are always surprises, too. We’ve gotten enormous candles, cowgirl kerchiefs, steel flasks small enough to slip inside a cowboy boot, sporting goods, antiques and more.

This year’s sale takes place this weekend only, Nov. 22 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and on Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

It is also at a new location, 959 Pine Place, off Piner Road in Santa Rosa.
