Hike by the light of the moon
Take a leisurely walk of a coastal ranch at sunset on April 3, ending the romantic trek with a picnic dinner while watching the moon rise.
The guided hike will criss-cross the 335-acre Carrington Ranch. Located just north of Bodega Bay, the publicly-owned open space is blessed with views of both the ocean and Salmon Creek.
The hike 2 1/2-hour hike will be led by Heather Knoll of LandPaths, which stewards and provides access to publicly-owned lands that aren't parks. They operate in partnership with the Sonoma County Agriculture and Open Space District.
Weather permitting, the picnic dinner will be by the light of a nearly full 'Egg Moon.'
Registration for the walk, which begins at 6:30 p.m., is required. Visit Landpaths.org for more information.
