Workshop: Growing veggies with less water

An upcoming workshop in Sonoma will share ways to keep your garden green while still conserving water.|

You don’t have to give up your home-grown tomatoes because of the drought.

Neely Hart will give home gardeners advice on how to grow great tomatoes and veggies while still conserving water, during a workshop April 26 at Sonoma Mission Gardens.

Neely will offer tips on soil, fertilizing, watering and choosing the best varieties for your taste. The talk begins at 10 a.m at the nursery, located at 851 Craig Ave, at the corner of Arnold Drive in Sonoma. For information call 938-5775.
