Low-water gardening workshop in Sonoma

You can have your kitchen garden and save water too.

That’s the thrust of a workshop Saturday, May 24, at Sonoma Mission Gardens Nursery.

Expert Neely Hart will talk about water-wise vegetable gardening. She will offer tips on how to grow the best vegetables and tomatoes with less water, focusing on soil, fertilizing, watering and the best varieties for the Sonoma climate. The workshop starts at 10 a.m. Attendance is limited to 50. To reserve a seat call 938-5775. 851 Craig Avenue at Arnold Drive, Sonoma.
