The Sonoma Land Trust is leading a series of hikes to high spots for photo-worthy sunsets.

On July 16 hikers will be guided up into the foothills of Cougar Mountain in the Sears Point Uplands for a sunset view of the San Pablo Bay.

Professional photographer Corby Hines shows how to capture beautiful images by observing how light interacts with water, land and sky during a hike July 19 of the Estero Americano Preserve.

On July 30 the destination is Lone Antler Lookout on Little Black Mountain, where a hikers will make their was through mixed forsts before emerging to sweeping views of the southweast fromt he footbhills of Pole Mountain.

The Sears Point and Little Black Mountain hikes are from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. and is considered a Level 3 hike with steep inclines with no trails. Cost is $10 for non-members, free to members of the Sonoma Land Trust.

The Estero walk is rated as a Level 2 hike with some inclines. Cost is free to all. It will take four hours from 4-8 p.m.
