Browse for fun at Howarth Park party

Enjoy free entertainment, tours and more while learning about the popular Santa Rosa park.|

It’s an opportunity to shop for fun at the “Parks Make Life Better Bash” July 17 at Howarth Park.

The city of Santa Rosa’s Reaction and Parks department will showcase its amenities and programs with booths offering interactive experiences and activites. Bash-goers can collect passport stamps for a chance to win prizes.

The Bash also features stage entertainment, free tours of the Howarth Park Animal Barn and the Sonoma County Traveling Fair, a dramatically downscaled version of the upcoming fair with games, prizes and popcorn.

Admission is free to the party. Other Howarth Park attractions will be open for the regular ticket price.

The event runs 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at 620 Summerfield Road in Santa Rosa.
