PETALUMA: Wind to Wine Festival Grand Tasting

The Wind to Wine Festival Grand Tasting is Saturday and it begs the question: Can you taste the wind in a wine? The event, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m., will showcase wines produced from grapes grown in Petaluma Gap area vineyards. More than 20 wineries are expected to participate. Tickets: $95 a person. HEALDSBURG: Starlight Dinner at Jordan

A four-course dinner on Aug. 15 will showcase Jordan wines and offer expert-guided stargazing with telescopes to capture the Perseid meteor shower. The event will also have live entertainment. The dinner, $200 per person, is 7:30-11:30 p.m. at the winery, 1474 Alexander Valley Road in Healdsburg. For more information, visit jordanwinery.com.
