SONOMA COUNTY: Sonoma Wine Country Weekend

Sonoma Wine Country Weekend is Friday through Sunday features: Friday's Sonoma Starlight at Francis Ford Coppola Winery, 300 Via Archimedes, Geyserville, 6:30 to 10 p.m. Tickets are $125. Saturday's Taste of Sonoma at MacMurray Estate Vineyards, 9015 Westside Road, Healdsburg, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tickets are $165. MENDOCINO COUNTY: WineSong Charity Auction, Tasting

Tickets are on sale for WineSong Charity Auction & Tasting set for Sept. 12. The entire event is 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., with the Grand Tasting 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and the Live Auction 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Grand Tasting will offer pours from wineries from Mendocino, Sonoma and Napa counties, as well as those from around the world. Tasters will also be able to enjoy the offerings of 50 culinary artisans, as well as listen to jazz, rock, blues and classical music. The Live Auction will be offering lots of rare and cult wine collections, original art, travel packages and gourmet culinary experiences.
