Rosso Rosticceria in Santa Rosa opening for dinner

The cafe and event space in Santa Rosa is now adding dinners along with their breakfast, lunch and happy hour bites.|

Rosso Rosticceria & Eventi in Santa Rosa will start serving dinner on Wednesdays through Sundays starting Sept. 16 in the business park across from the Parkpoint Club on Dutton Avenue.

The wood-fire cafe and event space, opened by Kevin Cronin and chef/owners John and Gesine Franchetti, has been has been serving breakfast, lunch and happy hour bites in the former Sassafras restaurant space since spring 2014.

The new dinner hours will be 5 to 9 p.m. on Wednesdays through Sundays. The restaurant will continue to serve breakfast and lunch from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. daily. The restaurant is located at 1229 N. Dutton Ave. 526-1229. rossopizzeria.com.
