SONOMA COUNTY: Harvest Fair Awards Night Gala

The sweepstakes award winners will be announced Sunday at the Sonoma County Harvest Fair's Awards Night Gala. Doors open at 4:30 p.m. for a Gala Wine and Food Reception, featuring award-winning wines. Wells Fargo Center for the Arts, 50 Mark West Springs Road. The dinner is sold out, but there are still some $75 tickets for the reception and ceremony available. harvestfair.org.

SONOMA COUNTY: Grand Tasting, epicenter for food, wine

The Sonoma County Harvest Fair is Oct. 2-4, and the Grand Tasting will be in the Sonoma County Fairgrounds Tasting Pavilion on Oct. 2 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Oct 3-4 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Grand Tasting tickets are $55 per person, while a three-day pass is $140. The Grand Tasting offers tastes of the award-winning wines, beers, ciders and food from the fair's professional competitions. harvestfair.org. .
