Expo features new tech for disabled and seniors

See how technology can make life easier for the disabled at a different kind of tech expo Friday Oct. 9, at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds.

The 10th Annual Tech Expo put on by the Disabled Services and Legal Center of Santa Rosa will showcase products and services that can help not only the disabled, but seniors and veterans with physical challenges, live independently.

Exhibitors will display and demonstrate assistive technology, modified vehicles and adaptive equipment as well as share information about available support and services.

Admission to the expo is free. It runs from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. in the Finley Building, 1350 Bennett Valley Road, Santa Rosa. For more information call 528-2745 Ext. 307, call David Scott at 636-3063, email dvdscott@sonic.net or visit MyDSLC.org.
