Charles Edward Wagner and Thomas Frank Culp were married at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 25, 2015 at Old First Presbyterian Church in San Francisco. The Reverend Maggie Henderson, resident pastor, officiated, with music director Larry Marietta playing harpsichord. Following the ceremony the wedding guests dined in the Library Room of nearby Harris Restaurant.

Charlie Wagner, 63, graduated from the University of Southern California with a BA in International Relations, and is a senior business analyst at Charles Schwab Inc. He was born in New Jersey and raised in Pennsylvania. He is the son of the late Vincent S. Wagner and the late Elizabeth Donnelly Wagner of Yardley.

Tom Culp, 65, retired from Wells Fargo Bank in 2014 as a data management consultant after twenty nine years in banking. He received a BA/Theatre Arts from the University of California at Irvine. He is a trustee emeritus of Lick Wilmerding High School in San Francisco from which he graduated, and is President of the Board of Directors of Old First Concerts (O1C), a presenter of emerging chamber music. He is the son of Mary A. Culp of San Francisco and the late Frank Thomas Culp, Jr.

The couple met in 2001 at the Highlands Resort in Guerneville, California on the Russian River.

After a honeymoon trip to the Republic of Malta a second celebration was held in the garden at the home of Ed and Anne Wagner in Wyncote, Pennsylvania outside Philadelphia where the Wagner family and other friends toasted the couple with champagne and cupcakes.

The couple will reside in exciting San Francisco and in beautiful West Sonoma County. They agree, “In the years since we first set eyes on each other we have completely enjoyed each other’s company in many places near and far.”
