There are plenty of ways to enjoy the outdoors in Sonoma County. Consider these upcoming events in the days to come.

LOVE RUN, FEB. 14

Healdsburg: Register through Feb. 12 for the Valentine's Day 5K Love Walk/Run, which starts at 9 a.m. Feb. 14 from the Healdsburg Running Company, 333 Center St. The route takes runners across the Healdsburg Bridge to the Russian River and back. Tickets are $40, $25 for those 11 and younger. Proceeds benefit the Healdsburg Youth Running Club. Info at healdsburgrunningcompany.com or 395-0372.

NUESTROS PARQUES, FEB. 6

Santa Rosa: A bilingual naturalist leads a free family walk 10 a.m.-noon Saturday at Spring Lake Park, 391 Violetti Drive. Learn about plants and animals and enjoy a potluck picnic in the park. It's part of the Healthy Parks Healthy People Bay Area initiative that connects residents with the health benefits of parks and open spaces. Free, but parking is $7. Heavy rain cancels the event. GO PRO EDITING, FEB. 9

Santa Rosa: Attend a hands-on class on GoPro video editing with GoPro camera and software from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at REI, 2715 Santa Rosa Ave. Group size is 12. $20-$40. 540-9025.
