Heartwarming video of North Bay puppies reuniting with their mother to get you through the day

A mother was reunited with her four puppies, and her reaction will warm your heart.

A video captured by the Marin Humane Society in Novato shows the touching moment between the mother and her pups.

The video was posted on March 8 and went viral – it has been viewed on Facebook more than 3.6 million times.

Some detective work and a lot of convincing allowed the Marin Humane Society to get the person who surrendered the mother dog to surrender the puppies as well.

The Marin Humane Society wrote in a Facebook post about the reunion: "They still needed their momma and were not in a safe situation. We captured the moment when sad and scared mom got to see her puppies again. Tears of joy all around at this happy reunion."

The Marin Humane Society decided to name the pups after Downton Abbey characters, since the mother dog was named Cora, after the show's character Cora Crawley, they wrote in a Facebook post.

The post continued: 'Her three boys are Carson, Moseley and Branson and her girl is Edith. All will be available for adoption in a few weeks!'
