Sunset Magazine is out with the finalists for its Travel Awards and while St. Helena made the cut, Sonoma County is strangely, nowhere to be found.

Tiny St. Helena is going up against big competition in Pasadena, Portland and Santa Fe, N.M, for the honor of "Best Shopping Destination." It's also battling Portland and Santa Fe, along with Walla Walla, Wash., for the "Best Food Town" title.

No town from either Napa County or Sonoma County is in the running for "Best Wine Country Town," leaving it up to Monterey County/Carmel Valley, Paso Robles or Solvang to bring the win home to California.

The winners will be announced in August and will be featured in the September issue of the magazine, which recently moved its headquarters to CornerStone in Sonoma.

What do you think of St. Helena's chances? And, how wrong was it for Napa and Sonoma to not even make the finals for the "Best Wine Country Town" list?
