Our reporters have scoured the coast and our northern neighbors for the best destinations for a Sunday drive throughout the year. Here are some of our favorites.

Fancy that quaint small town feel? Head up to Cloverdale for lunch at Hamburger Ranch or Hopland for olive oil and wine tasting among the organic gardens at Campovida.

Looking to cool off? Hit up Jenner for glimpses of whales in migration or harbor seals hanging out on the beach. While you are there grab some clam chowder at Café Aquatica or rent a kayak from WaterTreks.

Got a hankering for some oysters and bubbly? Head south to Tomales for the briny delicacies raw or barbecued.
