JACKRABBIT DERBY, MAY 7
Santa Rosa: The Empire Runners Club’s Jackrabbit Derby and Bunny Hop at Spring Lake Regional Park starts 8 a.m. Sunday with a free 1K Bunny Hop for kids 10 and younger followed by a 3-mile Jackrabbit Derby at 8:15 a.m. Nonmember 3-mile race is $10 if you register today, same-day registration is $20. town green half-marathon
Windsor: Registration is open for the May 21 Windsor Green half-marathon, 10K and 5K races. Races start between 7:30 and 7:50 a.m. on the Town Green. All three courses are 100 percent paved. There is three-hour time limit for the half-marathon. The event includes a prerace expo, and the Windsor Fire Department prepares a hot breakfast. Registration for the 5K is $30 for ages 5 to 15 and $45 for 16 and older; the 10K is $40 for ages 5 to 15 and $60 for ages 16 and older; and the half-marathon is $55 for ages 8 to 15 and $90 for 16 and older.
Water to wine half-marathon
Santa Rosa: The Water to Wine half-marathon and 10K on Aug. 6 starts and finishes at Kendall Jackson Wine Estate and Gardens on Fulton Road in Santa Rosa. Both races begin at 7 a.m. The half-marathon course is 80 to 90 percent paved with two off-road sections through vineyards and hard-packed dirt roads and has a cutoff time of 3.5 hours. Registration for ages 8 and older is $90 for the half-marathon and $60 for the 10K.
Healdsburg: The half-marathon starts at 7:30 a.m. and the 5K race at 8:15 a.m. on Oct. 8. The start and finish is at Healdsburg City Hall in downtown Healdsburg. There is a prerace expo and a beer and wine Octoberfest after the race. The half-marathon has a 3.5-hour cutoff time. Registration for ages 5 and older for the 5K is $40 before Aug. 1 and $50 after Oct. 1. Registration for ages 8 and older for the half-marathon is $90 before July 1, $100 before Sept. 1, $120 after Oct. 1 and $125 at the pre-expo.
