HEALDSBURG: Siduri dinner series
Winemaker Adam Lee and Assistant Winemaker Ryan Zepaltas of Siduri Wines will host a series of regional winemaker dinners at the Healdsburg Wine Lounge this summer and fall.
The series, which celebrates Siduri’s single-vineyard pinot noirs from California and Oregon, kicks off this Friday, June 30, with a dinner menu inspired by the Santa Lucia Highlands and continues on Aug. 25 with a Santa Rita Hills dinner and Oct. 27 with a Willamette Valley dinner.
The regionally-inspired dinners begin at 6:30 p.m. and are created by Backyard Forestville Chef/Owners Daniel Kedan and Marianna Gardenhire.

HEALDSBURG: Winemakers talk
As a follow-up to the 28th annual Passport even, the Winegrowers of Dry Creek Valley are launching a new series called “Winemakers in Conversation.”
The talks begin with a seated tasting with a panel of four winemakers and end with a more informal tasting with eight food pairings and passed hors d’oeuvres. Each talk begins at 10 a.m. and continues through noon.
The series kicks off July 15 with “Zealous about Zinfandel” at Quivira Vineyards and Winery. The second tasting, “Cult Cabernets,” will be held July 2 at Passalacqua Winery. The final tasting, “Zintopia,” will be held at 10 a.m. July 30 at Preston Vineyards.

SANTA ROSA: Pizza in Paradise
Starting July 1 through Oct. 14, the Worth Our Weight culinary apprentice program will fire up the outdoor pizza oven at Paradise Ridge Winery’s Russian River Valley Estate from noon to 3 p.m. every Saturday.
In addition to wood-fired pizzas, guests can order fresh oysters and salads. This year, the partnership between the winery and WOW has expanded to include a garden on the estate cultivated by WOW apprentices, who have faced major challenges in their lives.

HEALDSBURG: Seghesio Chef’s Dinner
Seghesio Chef Peter Janiak and Ted Seghesio will host a dinner at 5 p.m. July 8 atop Rattlensnake Hill at the Seghesio Home Ranch.

SEBASTOPOL: Zazu in top 100
The Good Food Media Network has published its inaugural Good Food 100 Restaurants List for restaurants that support sustainable food systems.
Zazu Kitchen + Farm in Sebastopol is the only Sonoma County restaurant on the list, which is based on self-reported annual food purchasing data, independently verified by NSF Responsible Sourcing.
