Jameson Animal Rescue Ranch is organizing a memorial ceremony for all animals, domestic or wild, that fell victim to the October wildfires that rampaged through Napa and Sonoma counties. The event will be held Sunday, Dec. 17 from 2-4 p.m. at Silverado Resort & Spa (600 Atlas Peak Road).
“Many animals lost their lives during the fire tragedy. So many of those animals that died are never mentioned and we felt it important to honor their lives,” said Jameson Animal Rescue Ranch co-founder Monica Stevens.
Napa County Board of Supervisors Chair Belia Ramos will be officiating along with Cal Fire Capt. Jake White, Dr. Claudia Saunders of the Napa Community Animal Response team, director of the Suscol Intertribal Council, Charlie Toledo, and author Dr. Will Tuttle.
