Sneak peek at Sonoma Wine Auction lots

Preview a few of the lots bound to be crowd pleasers at this Sunday's Sonoma Harvest Wine Auction at Chateau St. Jean.|

Here's a sneak preview of some lots expected to be hotly contested under the white tent at Kenwood's Chateau St. Jean Sunday during the Sonoma Harvest Wine Auction.

Lot 14: For Adventuresome Music-Lovers.

Trattore Estate Wines and Day Creek Olive Company are sending two people to the 57th annual Grammy Awards ceremony on Feb. 8, 2015. The lot features coveted seats in the silver section, tickets to the Grammys' after-party, and a private guided tour of the Grammy Museum.

Lot 15: For Highbrow Campers.

Patz & Hall owners will host the ultimate 'glamping' for three couples. Accommodations feature a spacious European canvas tent complete with full-size beds and lounge furniture. The lot even comes with a camping butler prepared to respond to guests' every whim. Vineyard tours and good eats are also in the mix.

Lot 18: For Barcelona Enthusiasts.

The owners of Gloria Ferrer Caves & Vineyards are hosting a seven-day trip to Barcelona for four people. This lot features an insiders' tour of the 100-year-old Freixenet Winery, a hike up Montserrat Mountain with Pedro Ferrer, and a private tour of the Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art with Gloria Ferrer.

Lot 24: For Race Car Fanatics.

This lot offers VIP passes to the 2015 Indianapolis 500 for two couples. Hosts are vintners Steve Sangiacomo and Steve Dutton, as well as Sonoma Raceway President Steve Page. The offering features insider access to pits and garages, a winemaker dinner and a package of 10 magnums each from Sangiacomo Family Vineyards and Dutton Ranch wines.

Lot 37: For the Consummate Pinot Lover.

This lot offers five couples the chance to spend time with some of the county's high rollers of pinot noir. It offers a vertical tasting with bottlings from Auteur Wines, Gary Ferrell Winery, Hanzel Vineyards, Hartford Family Winery and Williams Selyem. It also features a dinner at the Farmhouse Inn & Restaurant in Forestville, and a five-case collection of pinot noirs from the wineries mentioned.
