Luther Burbank Home ?& Gardens, then and now
Master Gardener Rachel Spaeth will give a tour of the Luther Burbank garden on Sunday. She will talk about projects and new ones as she leads people through the historic garden in downtown Santa Rosa. Spaeth is responsible for preserving and sharing Luther’s work, with assistance from volunteer gardeners. She’s working on her Ph.D at UC Davis, studying the genetics of Luther Burbank’s plums. The Sebastopol Fuchsia Society is sponsoring a plant sale July 29 featuring plants grown by members. There will be plenty of hanging baskets, uprights and various colors to peruse. 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. (or sooner if sold out), Sebastopol Center for the Arts, ?282 S. High St., Sebastopol.
