Simi celebrates summer with a Rosé Rendezvous

With the rosé season officially underway, Simi Winery in Healsdsurg will hold a Rosé Rendezvous from 2 to 5 p.m. Aug. 1, featuring the winners of its first Rosé Competition.

In March, Simi invited wineries from across the nation to submit their dry rosés for consideration. More than 192 bottles were submitted, and a team of expert sommeliers judged each wine, awarding 11 with a Double Gold Medal.

At the Rendezvous, the public is invited to taste through more than 20 of the award-winning rosés, along with tasty noshes prepared by Simi Executive Chef Kolin Vazzoler. The eclectic band Full Chizel will provide the live soundtrack.

Tickets are $35, including all sips, bites and a wine glass to take home. Tickets may be purchased online at roserendezvous.bpt.me.
