Are North Coast schools meeting their goals in 2013?

Each year California reports how well its schools perform in terms of state and federal accountability laws.

The federal No Child Left Behind law requires schools to reach annual targets based on the goal of having all students meet a state-defined level of proficiency by the 2013-2014 school year.

Schools that receive federal funds for low-income students can enter sanctions if they repeatedly fail to meet one or more goals.
