Man in Little River suspected of injuring wife

A Little River man was arrested Wednesday on suspicion of domestic violence and preventing his victim from notifying law enforcement.

Mendocino County Sheriff's deputies were called to a home on Headlands Drive where James Meacham, 61, is accused of grabbing his wife's arm and preventing her from calling law enforcement after a verbal fight. The victim sustained visible injury to her left arm which required medical treatment, according to Mendocino County Sheriff's deputies.

Meacham's bail was set at $25,000.
