Two Fort Bragg men arrested after alleged street race

Two Fort Bragg men were arrested Wednesday night for suspicion of street racing after a patrol officer saw them stop side-by-side, rev their engines and speed down North Main Street in the center of town, police said.

The suspects, Joseph Dunston, 30, and Jonathan Presswood, 25, were stopped at a red light at Redwood Avenue, then sped off when the light turned green, police said.

The drivers were cited and released with promises to appear in court, police said. Their vehicles were impounded for 30 days, police said.
